9th Annual Festival of Words
This free event celebrates the written and spoken word through public readings and performances, student creative writing contests, open mics, writing workshops in the school and community, and “drive-by poetry". 2016 authors include: Yvette Landry, Rain Prud'homme-Cranford (Gomez), Chere Dastugue Coen, Bruce Coen, Kristina Marshall, and Chamir Murphy.
